Time flies!

I can't believe how time flies! My children are growing so stinkin' fast, I can't keep up! And this blog, yikes, obviously I can't keep up with that either! That was 12 pounds ago!!! I've now lost FOUR dress sizes....and I NEVER thought I'd see this size again!! It is very true though, that you can only lose weight once you're mind is set to it! That number I saw on the scale back in September was the UGLIEST number I have ever ever seen, and God willing, that last time I will see that horrible number!

Last nite my mom and I had the evening to ourselves!! The boys were with aunt lindsay and the men were at school for the burrito dinner fundraiser. So, mom and I had dinner at school/church and the men did an excellent job in the burrito dept!! YUM! Then we went to a surprise birthday party for my aunt and uncle who turn 50 this month-ish....I felt really good last nite after recieving many compliments on how great I look! I had said to my mom a little bit ago that no one really has said anything about my weight loss really, so I wondered if you could even really tell....but, I guess 47 lbs is the magic number!? I also think it has something to do with my nice new black (HEELED) boots!! lol! Whatever it was, it was nice to have some of my friends and family say so!

Speaking of friends, I have met some very near and dear people from school/church over the last few years...and also met some not very dear people too...but we won't talk about them! lol. I was so disappointed to hear that the kids school is closing after this year! All these sweet children in the boys' classes....all to be split up for the most part...It saddens me! THough I do feel that everything happens for a reason, I'm excited to see what the next door holds for us, but we will sadly miss seeing them on a day to day basis!! We've been looking into different avenues for schools for the boys....we aren't sure which direction the Lord will lead us, but we are doing all that we can on our end, to ensure that the Lord will give us the signs we need to make the appropriate decision. WE have applied to several Charter Schools and the next step starts April 6 when we can apply to the KISD schools...aka...school of choice. We are also looking at 2 different Catholic Schools too....the one Jonathon will be attending and one that our neighbor teaches at. I am hoping that it doesn't come to the latter, b/c I really don't want to have to chose between those two!!
Laney Jo's birthday is Saturday....Geesh, I can't believe she would be 12!!!I can say for certain, that she would be babysitting my boys by now if she was still around!! she loved those boys soooo much!! She was a little mother hen!!
So, maybe I'll be posting before May?? no promises!!!
